Bonjour!

Having a busy first two weeks, we thought we'd take a day off. We woke from our hostel, walked towards the ocean. We walked through Old Nice, full of beautiful old buildings, and then the market. We bought some strawberries and the best croissant I've ever had (butter cream filled)! We set up on the beach and relaxed for the rest of the day, watching the waves off the Mediterranean crash into the shore.

Later in the evening we watched our very first foot volley match. It was the national semi finals. A game just like volleyball, but you are unable to use your hands. Interesting to say the least!

What a perfect day.
