Day 31 Today we were in a wonderfully picturesque part of the Alps and the site of the original winter Olympics in 1924. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamoni x I went down to breakfast at 9am then returned to my room to read and relax. Our guide had suggested that we take the cable car to the top of the glacier for a touristy look from the top. Not being one to do many touristy things and having been on Fox and Frans Joseph glaciers in NZ, I decided to save the 57eruo and give it a miss. I read for a while and chatted on Messenger before doing a little washing. It was then time to watch MotoGP practice and qualifying from the German GP. Once the qualifying had finished I walked into town to brows the shops. Stopping for lunch at a small cafe. I decided that since I had a late lunch I would not dine out tonight, so I stopped at a grocery store called "Casino Shop". I purchased UHT milk, coffee satchels , instant onion and croutons soup, a block of chocolate and two cans of beer. The party would be in my room tonight.
