O M GGGGG. What an amazing experience! We have been wined and dined (minus the wine, add Coca tea.) we arrived at our camp the first night to "happy hour" of Coca Tea with among other things has medicinal properties the help altitude sickness, pastries and a bowl full of warm water to wash our faces. Our crew consisted of Paul our head guy who speaks fabulous English and is a wizard of all things Peruvian. A walking encyclopedia. There was a Chef and horseman and his 12 year old nephew who helped at camp and managed the packhorses. For the two nights on the trek, we were greater with 3 course lunches, sinners, happy hours, big breakfasts and snack bags. The crey also set up our tents for us. After guiding for so many years... I realized how nice it is to have a tent set up for you.
The crew was great. Here is a picture of them.
