Rang mum to see how the angiogram went, and all is basically well, but some precautions to take. Headed for AQWA today - north of Perth near Hillary's. Being school holidays, it was full of small children, but it was really well done. Another quiet day - decided to go for a drive after lunch, heading for a cheese tasting place at Harvey, and I thought we could stop at Dwellingup to look at a forest centre and wood product shop. But everything, even the information centre, was closed until Wednesday. Continued on to the cheese tasting place, which for some reason had a pair of very personable camels- not sure of the connection with cheese making.....but they were entertaining! Another latish start - le tour has a lot to answer for. Had arranged to meet Sharon Jones at Fremantle Prison, so we got there a little early and wandered around the welcome wall at the Maritime Museum - as far as we know Ross' dad first spent time in Fremantle when he migrated in 1950 and only later made his way to Sydney. Quiet day - a few loads of washing, well as much as would fit on the very minimalist clothes horse. After lunch Ross and I went for a walk northwards along the beach paths. Not a brilliant beach day, and the wind got up fairly strongly on the return leg. The boys discovered the pool table in the games room and had a fine time. For Jon : stir fried chicken and hokkien noodles, followed by triple caramel ice cream with Tim tams.
