We had a fantastic time on KI. This is the view from our front window in the cabin we stayed in. Quite a severe looking landscape and prone to wind in a big way, but quite endearing upon closer inspection.
Caves, cubist rock formations, masses of seals and sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, lighthouses and laconic goannas who just take their time crossing the road, holding the traffic up upon their whim. Mind you traffic equates to two cars - one full of German backpackers and the other holding 4 McLoughlins . Very little in the way of concentrations of commercial activity, although the sheep dairy was pretty impressive. Beautiful sparsely populated beaches, all in all a wonderful breath of relatively unfettered nature.
The ferry trip there and back from Point Jarvis was a bit hairy, but we survived with the assistance of our Kwell tablets - only they make me very dozy after - even when I only have just 1. Nighty night!
