So after 6 mouse traps and a roll of chewed up toilet paper, some pesticide foam to fill in the mouse hole and electronic pest repellers we have no more mice!!!!
Today we went to the Discovery park. They were closed for the inside stuff so we saw the outside stuff. Ok, we saw yet ANOTHER cactus garden and a really neat sundial made out of turtles. You'll just have to wait until I can upload the pics to see what I mean. Saturday we'll try to go back to Discovery park to see if the inside is open.

The other day Chloe and I heard the pitter patter of little feets. So we bought mouse traps. So far we have purchased and set 4 mouse traps in 2 days and need more. I did find a hole in the foam (who knew they chewed through foam?) and we filled it with pest repellent foam. It has a bitter taste. Hopefull that will work. The amazing thing is that they must have JUST entered the trailer because we can find no signs of them being in here. But Chloe and I did hear them!
We have lights around and in the engines of the cars to keep the pack rats out I wonder if this will work for mice. So far we have seen, a packrat, javalina, coyote, racoon, and of course lizards. There are Coots (black ducks), Mallards and even a few Pelican in the lake. And of course all the birds. The quail laugh at me every time I go outside.
The only bad part is that unlike in New Mexico there are mosquitoes here.
I did try to upload some pictures the other day but Carls Jr. wifi was not working so they will have to wait a while.
In a couple of weeks we plan to go to Kartchner Caverns And The Tombstone Courthouse. Otherwise we are just hanging around the park, walking the trails, losing and finding a dog, catching mice and playing in the lake and natural springs hot tub. So far this is my favorite job EVER!

Grrr, spent 4 days in the desert and on the lake with the dogs. Sunburned/tanned and tired and have to go to work. Oh well, only have to work 3 days. I'll make it. We are getting ready to go to Kartchner Caverns & Tombstone the week of the 27th.
Soon we'll be in California. Wow we've traveled across the country and back in less than a year! — at Rope Lake State Park, AZ.
May 7th.
So today I was walking 3 dogs in the desert. I turned around and Chloe (little dog, blends into desert) was gone. I called hubby and he says well she isn't wearing her tags either. (We are at a lake so they are wearing water collars, no tags just micchipped). So I asked. Do you think the coyote would call us before he ate her if she was wearing her tags? LOL she found her way home to us. Still no clue how she got lost. She was there, then she wasn't. Roper Lake State Park, AZ
