Tomorrow we head back to Roper Lake. It'll be nice to go back to work and rest up from our vacation. Today we went to the Queen Mine for a tour of the copper mine. It was really neat. They dress you in yellow rain slickers, hard hats, a belt and a light on a rope that attaches to your belt in back and goes around to the front of you. Our hats were not made to accept these lights like the real miner hats are but we got the general idea. We got to ride a little train into the mine and see all the equipment that is used. We also got to walk into different areas that had been worked in. Our guide actually worked that very mine so it was interesting. Then we drove through Bisbee and came back to our campsite.

Today we are at Kartchner Caverns State Park, still in AZ. We got to visit Tombstone and had a GREAT time! We saw a gunfight at the OK Corral, had a drink in Big Nose Kates Saloon and then at Doc Halidays Saloon. Tried lots of different vinegar and oils at this one shop. YUM! Did LOTS of shopping! LOVE shopping. and visited the courthouse and everything else that was there to visit. We also saw Texas Canyon and were going to take pics on the way back. It was neat, but we never saw it on the way back from Tombstone. Not sure what happened or where it went but.... It wasn't there. So we'll try again tomorrow. We are also hoping to see a saguaro cactus in real life. We're getting a bit tired of prickly pear.

Tomorrow we are off to Queen Mine tour and then to the Caverns. We aren't allowed to take pics in these caverns so I won't be able to post those.
