We got up early today to do a guided tour around Uluru called the Mala walk. We learnt about Aboriginal creation stories and about the wildlife, plants and the food and things that the aboriginals used for tools. We then went to the cultural centre and saw a video about the aboriginal people trying to reclaim back Ayers Rock and then they had a meeting with the Governor General and they made Uluru belong back to the aboriginals. It was very interesting. That night we made popcorn and went our and watched the sunset on. Uluru. We took lots of photos which I will show you when I get back. The changes it colour were really good.

We also learnt about Jukaba (aboriginal word for stories) and Jukaricha (aboriginal word for evidence for the stories)
