We have arrived in Darwin. The caravan park we are staying at is awesome it has 3 pools and a massive jumping pillow and a lovely restaurant and bar. We did lots of swimming and had lovely dinners. We left Daly waters and drive to Bitter springs where we swam at Bitter springs at Mataranka hot springs. Both were lovely and warm and we had heaps of fun. We left there and went to Katherine where we did a boat cruise of Katherine Gorge. We saw both fresh and saltwater crocs in the gorge which was pretty cool. There was also heaps of bats there too. First we drove from Uluru for 450 km to Alice springs. We unpacked and then went to look around town. We then went to this reptile park and it was really cool. We saw a 3 metre saltwater croc who is still only a toddler! Why also saw thorny devils, goannas and turtles. We then went inside and we had the chance to hold some of the reptiles. I held an 8 kg python named Angus, a bearded dragon named Jack ( I liked him) and a blue tongue lizard named pickles. ...

Today we drove to a tiny town called Daly waters. We unpacked, had a look around and then went for a swim in the pool as it was really hot. The pool was freezing but it was better than standing in the heat so we kept swimming. Then we went back into the pub ( we were camping out the back of the pub) and waited for dinner, and had a slurped while we waited. We got up early today to do a guided tour around Uluru called the Mala walk. We learnt about Aboriginal creation stories and about the wildlife, plants and the food and things that the aboriginals used for tools. We then went to the cultural centre and saw a video about the aboriginal people trying to reclaim back Ayers Rock and then they had a meeting with the Governor General and they made Uluru belong back to the aboriginals.
