Today was a really big day as we were going to Ayers Rock and I was so excited. Off we went and when we were only a few km away I couldn't believe how big it was. The photos of it don't show anywhere near how big it is. It is 348 m high and 3.6 km long. We could have climbed it but they don't like you too and ask that you don't so we respected that and just stepped on it for some pictures. T would have also been hard for all of us to climb it so we didn't. We will probably never get the chance to either as they are hoping to close it completely to climbing. ( I will explain when I see you). We did do a walk around the base of it to see some of its features like the caves and the paintings. The aboriginals used to camp around it thousands of years ago.
