Kruger National Park, South Africa Nov 12, 2013 The little impala on the left was born less than five minutes before this picture was taken - if you look closely you can see the remains of the umbilical cord hanging down. The fawn was a bit wobbly initially, but once it got the hang of its legs there was no holding it back and it raced around, jumping up and down - with its mother chasing after it, still in the process of cleaning up the afterbirth.

Five days after we took the photographs of these two rhinos they were both shot by poachers for their horns - two out of more than 800 rhinos poached in South Africa so far this year. The Chinese and Vietnamese have much to answer for!!
