Ursula Tyrrell Taylor Grenfell established the first hospital and school adjoining it. When he was not operating in the hospital he was teaching in the school. Thus the hospital and school developed side by side.
Ursula Tyrrell Taylor My father had to train and graduate in Brussels at the School of Tropical Medicine before being allowed to go to the Congo. He also had to spend time with a family in Antwerp perfecting the language before being cleared for working in the Belgian Congo.
