One of the local "Kuku" (chicken) grills - excellent BBQ chicken from a roadside shack. We had a sit down meal at a slightly more up market version the other night - and ended up eating by candlelight, because they were experiencing one of the regular power cuts you get here.

Vikki C My first day back at work yesterday and already pining for the Congo. Great to read your blog and re-live some of the highlights (giant pygmies, dgm, force naval etc...). Hope the landrover situation resolves itself and you enjoy the rest of your travels!
