After another good night's sleep we woke up at sunrise, it was beautiful over the sea with the shipwreck in the background. We made breakfast and got packed up and sorted for our last day. We headed south at around 10.00am heading to Eli Creek. The drive wasn't so bad but when we reached the first set of rocks the tide was still on it's way out. Even the local people were taking their time to go over the rocks and through the water. We went for it, James was very good. We got to another point which was a little more water covered. We stopped before this one and pulled over to the side to read for a little while waiting for the tide to go out a bit more. We saw loads of people attempting it and it didn't seem so bad so we gave it a go and it was fine. After a little more driving we reached Kirrar Sandblow which is huge coloured sands and sand dunes which we walked up and around for ages on. We left a couple of messages in the sand for the next people to find then we got back to the car to take the scenic drive to Lake Wabby. The drive was definitely scenic and quite sandy but nothing worse than we've driven on already. Lake Wabby was quite a walk away from the car park but it was totally worth the walk. We walked at first through a forest until you reach a hill of sand at the edge which then opens out onto sand and trees with a huge deep lake and more trees on the other side of it. It looks so bizarre and out of place but beautiful. All the sand here has been blown in on the wind and it's slowly swallowing up the trees and the lake. There are full tree trunks sunk in the ground and the tops coming out of the sand. When we'd had enough here we walked back to the car and did the rest of the scenic drive. We got back to the ferry port and swept the whole inside of the car and sorted our bags so it would be quicker to drop off. On the ferry back we got an amazing sunset. Once off the ferry the lights on the dash board hadn't come on so we filled the car with petrol and went to check with Ashley who sorted it straight away. We still had to wash the car which we took to a do it yourself place. We only had two dollars in change so that's how much of a wash it was getting. We tried to get to the supermarket to get something for our tea but it had already closed at 5.30pm on a Saturday night! We took the car back and called a taxi, when we got back to the hostel the office was closed but there was a note to call the guy from the phone upstairs. He gave James a code to a safe where the key was for our room where our big bags were. After dumping our bags we went to a shop, found one not far away where we got bread and beans, very much ready for bed now.
