We got up around 9.30am this morning and ate some nuts to keep us going, James bought coffee from downstairs for us. The airport is where we have to take the car back to which is around five miles away. Our plan for saving money is to walk back if we can. We got up early as we've got a busy day ahead of us today. We had bought some bits for breakfast so we had that before setting off for the Grand Canyon. The drive to the canyon wasn't so bad, it was about an hour in length and not as many cars on the road as we had expected. The queue for the pass to the National Park though did take some time. We had cereal and then we had a go at having a waffle as they had a waffle iron and a batter machine.
