We slept really well last night, the bed is really comfy here and the room is nice. But we got up and out straight away, we haven't got long in Seminyak before going to Gili Trawangan and we still have no idea how we are getting there. We had some breakfast at the restaurant attached to our hotel, it was a little expensive for what we got. We walked down to the beach which was only a five minute walk and walked along the beach. The beach is beautiful with glittery sand and huge waves with people surfing on them. There were a couple of strange brown patches in the sea where something looked as if it had been spilt and it seemed to make brown bubbles appear on the top of the water, very strange. We walked a little further down the beach and found a spot to sit in the shade of a palm tree. We went in the sea for a swim but this proved difficult as the current was really strong and the waves were huge, sweeping you off your feet. We stayed here for a couple of hours before packing up and heading back to find some transport for tomorrow to Gili T. We headed back to the hotel and were stopped by a guy who had a travel shop on the beach. He told us about a fast boat to Gili T. He was a really nice bloke who was local but had picked up English with a strong Australian accent. We said we'd think about it. We walked away and had a chat about what to do, we'd heard the fast boats could be dangerous and expensive but if we took the slow option it could take us all day. After looking at other options we decided to take the risk and book with him, it includes a return trip with pick up and drop off to hotel too which seemed really good for the price. We are just hoping it goes according to plan now. We went out in the evening to get something to eat, we found a great little place which did awesome local food. A local dish is chicken sate (or satay) this is one of my favourites and this particular one is the best one I've ever had!
