We were up early and out to get some breakfast, we came back and got the rest of our things packed and were ready to leave by 9.30am. We went to say good bye to Sam and Steph which is really strange, we've travelled with them for around a month now. We said we'd stay in touch and there's a possibility we may be able to meet up in New Zealand. We checked out and flagged a tuk tuk to take us to the airport. We got there and checked into our first flight to Singapore. On the flight we got a meal which we weren't expecting but was a bonus, it was around a 90 minute flight. Once there we found our gate for the next flight to Bali. It was a much bigger plane and we got another meal, saves us from having to buy anything later! We watched most of a film whilst flying as the flight was two hours long. Once off the plane we had to get a visa on arrival and so did everyone else. There was a queue to pay for the visa and then another queue to get one put in your passport. It took quite a while to get this done. Going through we collected our bags and used a cash machine and went to find a taxi. The ride through Bali could have been anywhere in Asia, they have similar types of shops and street cafes. We got to our hotel which is a big place, we were both knackered we plonked our bags down and put the TV on. We watched a film and slept.
