Today we checked out of our hotel in Dona Paula and got a taxi to Vagator where we would be staying in the Asterix hostel for the next 5 nights. Unfortunately I had woken up with a case of Delhi belly! It made the morning very fast and the the taxi ride was very slow, although we did get to see a fully painted up elephant walking down the road, unfortunately we didn't manage to get a photograph! Interesting yet again though! Once we arrived at the hostel all I wanted to do was rest but our room wasn't quite ready, so we went to get some cold drinks and had a short walk. We went back to the hostel, our room is called the tree house, you have to climb some metal stairs on the outside ( which James is not keen on) and there it is a room with a bathroom attached. We had forgotten the room we booked had no air con, it did have a ceiling fan and a stand up fan though. Pretty much for the rest if the day I slept on and off, in between being sick. James went for a walk to suss where things were and to buy some water etc. we had a night in then watching telly on our phones and getting some sleep!
