We got a taxi from the hotel to the airport, this was a bit of an experience!! There weren't really any lanes as such in the roads so cars and bikes were everywhere, lots of beeping again. Out of the windows we saw a lot of shacks that had been built in any gap going. Interesting shop spot was the chemist and druggist! Familiar shop spot was George menswear!! The airport was pretty simple, when we got on the plane James' fears had come true, this was the smallest plane seat he had ever sat in. Luckily he had the aisle seat and the flight was only one hour long. Once in Goa I got the bags and James got an Indian SIM card sorted. We then got a taxi to our hotel. Yet another interesting taxi ride, it was quite long and with yet more constant horn beeping and overtaking, oh and no seatbelts!!Once inside the hotel we checked in, we were given a complimentary drink of orange juice (which was very welcome) and shown to our upgraded room. The room is very nice, big bed in the bedroom, a bathroom, a living room/ kitchen and two balconies. Yet again we have not eaten since breakfast this morning at 9.00am and it's now 6.00pm, we ordered room service, food and beers and James found football on the telly. Ahh time to relax again.
