After breakfast James finished booking the last hotel between now and Christmas, we are now booked up until 2nd January, and I made some repairs to my favourite shorts.
When we arrived in Calangute by taxi I remembered seeing a bookshop not very far away. We have been looking for a rough guide to South East Asia as the Goa and India ones have been brilliant. We went to the shop but it was closed unfortunately, disappointingly we could even see they had rough guides near the window!
We went to the beach and decided we would try later. We had a few hours at the beach on some sun loungers from a beach shack. The waves in the sea here are pretty rough, some of them were enormous and totally engulfed you then left the water only as high as your knees. We were worn out after that swim! We tried the bookshop again but no luck, still closed, this is our mission now in Calangute to actually find it open!
