Friday 1st Feb

Booked a"Limo" to collect us from the airport to take us to Pattaya for the night. It was really cheap - could not work out why……..

Then we see a really old Beemer 5 series with Carlos fandango wide wheels and a bad boy exhaust - oh yes it is ours. Still, would expect nothing less over here as they are all mental.

Slept most of the way in the "Limo" and then disaster. We were supposed to head straight out on the town, as I had only one night to try to show john around, but neither of us could get any money out.

After ages on to the bank we went to the cash machine and shouted out loud "yes" and then ran back in to the hotel when it gave us some money.

Everyone was looking at us thinking the obvious that we had stolen a card and had succeeded in using it.

Anyway, time to show john Pattaya-first stop 'Beevers' bar (use your imagination). Problem was we got chatting to the owner who bought us a drink. So being polite we accepted and tried to drink it quick as we needed to head on, but then his crazy German friend (who we think is on the sex register in more than one country and took a bit of a shine to us) bought us a drink as well. Apart from being scared we were well behind schedule.

So after power drinking 3 beers I took him round as many bars as I could. Next day we spent on the beach getting a tan, hiring jet skis, having beers and getting freshly cooked prawns and squid at our deckchairs.

Then back off to Bangkok to rendezvous with Jonnie boom boom.

Booked another limo, and this one was held together with sellotape.
