Salta is a small town in the North of Argentina.

In all honesty...we have done nothing but consume mass amounts of alc since we arrived. Acouple of guys that were in our Hostel in mendoza (Ben and Chris) arrived afew hours after us so we spent the eve having a bbq and drinking alot of beer. After the bbq everyone from our hostel went to a club. There we met 2 crazy Canadians (Nate and Ben). The following day we did lunch then had a pool party. After the pool party we started drinking games at 9....and finished drinking (most of us anyway) at 5/6am. We cleared the hostels fridge of beer and were told to leave as they had no more alc left. Leanne and I were booked onto an trip starting at 7:30. There was really no point of going to bed.

The trip took us South of Salta to a place callllled *looks for a sign* Cafayate. It is basically big red gorges...looks like Britneys video "not a girl, not yet a woman" (dont pretend like you havnt seen the music video!!) Was very pretty. We did acouple more wine tours...i had to leave as i nearly passed out at the thrt of alc.

I havnt slept for well over 48 hours. Im passed it now and feel fine. I am def laying off the drink for at least...24 hours. haha seriously im done drinking till we get to Peru. We have decided not to stay on our 3rd night and leave with the boys (above plus Steve and Arron) to Bolivia where we are hoping to do the saltflats as a group.
