Our day started with a visit to the local school. It was started by local parents and they used to be in sheds with 60 children in each classroom. The trust along with the help of Intrepid has now built a concrete classrooms and they are expanding all the time. Drove 4 hours from Nairobi to our first campsite in the Lake Nakuru national park. Tents are dome canvas tents and fairly roomy and easy to put up. Lunch was sandwiches with tomatoe, cucumber and cheese and this is to become a very common lunch (alternated with coleslow instead of the tomatoe and cucumber).
