We have booked into Atherton for a week so that we can spend some time exploring the tablelands as there is a lot to see up here.
The weather up here is a lot cooler which we don't like but the scenery is beautiful, we spent a day driving around to all the falls in the area and they are just beautiful.
Spent the next day going to a small town which has built a historic village which would have to be the best we have ever been to, even had camp oven stew damper and billy tea for lunch.
Went to a small town just up the road which was having a market and I reckon it would put the mutts it market to shame, it was awesome, I just wish I could have bought some of the exotic plants that they were selling.
