With a brief stop over in Atlanta, we flew into St Louis this evening. Pleasantly surprised by St Louis. It is a very pretty city, with relatively quiet, spotless roads and parks, it is in stark contrast to most of the places we have visited. Although celebrating a 250 year anniversary this year, it is very modern and would appear well funded. The people have a friendly disposition and friendly smiles. Leaving Tallahassee after breakfast, we headed for Jacksonville. About a 2.5 hour drive, our plan was to hit the coastal highway and work our way down to Miami.
