We have settled into our little digs in Brooklyn surprisingly well. The apartment we have been living in for the last 9 days is small by anyone's standards. After a late start, another sunny day found us heading towards the USS Intrepid. An aircraft carrier built in 1943 and decommissioned in the late 70', Intrepid now forms the basis of a Maritime Museum in New York. A perfect morning ! With crisp, clear skies, it was time to check out Lady Liberty.. Leaving wet clothes draped over every vertical item in the apartment, we headed back to Wall Street and on towards the ferry terminals.
