Phuket - we arrived in Phuket city after a long journey from Ko Tao. Phuket city is like Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam, it a locals town so we only stayed for one night. we stayed in the hotel where the film 'the Beach' with Leonardo Di Caprio was set.

Patong Beach, Phuket - we moved here as we had been told it was 'the place to go' we found a budget hotel, which had hot shower, tv, fridge and a kettle, so we were liking the place already. During the day Patong seems like any beach in Thailand, full of life and street sellers trying to flog anything and everything, plus it had a huge shopping center with Sony shop, Burger King ect, which was good cos it felt like home. during the evening Patong turns into a one massive party town, with bars everywhere, later on around midnight it turns in a huge brothel, with lady boys, transvestites and on the street pole dancing bars, which isn't to bad if you like that kinda stuff.
