Ko Tao - we decide to track back to this island as we missed it out when were traveling the other eastern islands, as we were told by every one we met that this was a beautiful island. after 10 hours on a bus, we arrived at surathani port, to find out the boat we were catching to Ko Tao was a night frieghter, and was going to take 9 hours, so we thought it would be a good idea to have a few beers. a few beers lead to a lot of beers, which was good because the cheap strong larger helped us sleep, perfect... only problem was when we woke up at sunrise with an hour to on the journey, with the worst hangover i have had for a long time, a hangover + sea sick must the worst combo ever.

we travelled most of Ko Tao staying in really cheap accommodation on the beaches. we did not get up to much, just top up the tan, walked around the island. we did take out a canoe one day, which was a laugh as some of the waves from the monsoon weather were massive and nearly toppled us over a few times, but we survived.
