Despite the tsunami of excitement in this room, we can't board until 12pm. I had to Nyhavn with the Kids to check out the Hans Christian Andersen shop, we're on a mission for a single book of hist stories. The shop is located just next door to his apartment block from when he lived here in the later stages of his life.
Yesterday while the girls were out shopping they found out that each day the first person to the Disney Store can get to open it up, turning a big key to open the store each day. Not something they needed to be invited to twice. Gab was queueing at the door from just after 9am while the kids and I raced back to join her, Emerson in a panic the whole time worried she'd miss it. We arrived just in time for Emerson to be handed the key to the store and open up. The only thing better than the opening was the little replica key Gab and Emerson can fight over to commemorate it :)
I set myself up in the cafe across the road, inspired by the Dane next to me, my breakfast was a ham and cheese toastie with an Erdinger (or two) to wash it down. We're eventually ready to head back to the hostel to collect our bags. The girl at the table next to us jumps up to introduce herself before we leave. She introduced herself as Tegan, but the next day we'd know her as Else when she's all Disneyed up.
The rest of the day is a blur, down to the ship, on board, lunch in Cabanas, a do nothing afternoon while we wait for the sail away party to kick off. All the bags have arrived except mine, it won't arrive until 11pm that night. Dinner was in Animator's Pallette, of course, the kids have ditched us for their respective Kid's Clubs by the desert course. If there was anything to make up for my missing luggage it was that someone in Disney has decided to put Franzisaner on tap! It's only available in Keys after 6pm, but something is better than Carlsberg all trip :)
