It's a sea day, and the first one in nearly two months that we're not all spending it in each others pockets. I take the kids to breakfast back at the Enchanted Garden while Gab has a sleep in. I check the kids into kids club at 9am - we had tantrums from both that it wasn't already open at 6 when they woke up.
At 10am I turn the Sea day into a Spa day, starting out with a teeth whitening - if you look really hard you can just notice it. It works enough to convince Gab to book in for the same treatment later in the day. Next up I have the facial and shave - a 1 hour process that leaves my face as smooth as Emerson's, it's so close I end up not shaving the next day. And finally a hair cut, all with an amazing view out to a bright blue sea.
With the kids still not wanting to leave kids club I get some sun time and a chance to wander around the Adult areas of the ship. Pool bars, sun lounge areas, hot tubs with glass floors and glass walls out to sea, coffee bars, awesome! Garry turns up and we hang out for a while trialing US beers at the pool bar.
Emerson is downstairs having her own Spa day in the Biddity Boppity Boutique. She decides to be Belle and come out dolled to the nines. No Belle slippers to fit her tiny feet so she gets Minnie red glittery shoes. Happily she bumps into Minnie afterwards who say's she looks like a princess.
Tonight is formal night, the ship, guests and characters all look amazing. The show tonight is Aladdin, again we're all captivated for the whole show. The stage production on this thing is brilliant, flying people, the genie appears and disappears in a puff of smoke, Aladdin and Jasmine are on some elevated floating platform that makes it look like they're really flying on a carpet, brilliant stuff.
We're dining in the Royal Court this evening, very fitting. Max has chosen the perfect evening to get his chivalry on, seating all the female members of our table, pulling out their chairs and pushing them in again. After dinner, Max and Olivia head off on their Muppet detective case, they need to follow clues all around the ship to solve the Muppet mystery. It's only when they're telling me about it I realize that loads of the paintings around this ship are animated. Watch them closely and they move a little or suddenly come right to life. For their quest, they hold up a card at the painting and it detects a shape on the card and will then play them a clue on the screen. I can't think what else they could add to this place to entertain kids anymore.
ps: We don't stop in Cuba, its just about where we are on the map today.
