Brenton Kovacs's Travels
Our drive from Cleveland to Chicago was fairly easy. We experienced some sleet and snow, but by the time we arrived in Chicago the weather had improved.
The following we day we explored Navy Pier, Millennium Park with the Cloud Gate.
Today we rise to find blue clear skies. So we head off down Magnificent Mile and up to the Hancock Building. We met another Aussie, so we sat and talked a while enjoying the view on the 97th floor. You can go to the 98th floor for $15 or go to the 97th floor and have the same view for free, well nearly. They make you buy a drink, which is $5.
We also headed back to Millennium Park to get some more pictures of the Cloud Gate with blue skies.
Chicago is a lot quieter than New York, and a lot cleaner. The traffic is a lot less as well.

Adrya What a fantastically stunning sculptue and the perfect name for it - Cloud Gate. I love these modern smooth sculptures they are so pleasing to the eye and appear very fluid. It is something i would want in my backy yard if it were big enough! Spectacular and worth viewing.
Adrya I was interested to read that Chicago was cleaner and not so busy as New York. It certainly looks quieter and very cold. Is it primarily a business centre? All those buildings - one forgets how big the US is.
