Well i thought we had driven on along some pretty scenic roads. The road from Redding to the west coast is just unbelievable. The scenery is just superb. We follow a river with many rapids, plus the many shades of green from the forest that lines the road. Breathtaking stuff. Finally we cross the state line and enter California. We stop off to visit Lake Tahoe. Its ever so nice. Pristine emerald and blue water surrounded by pine trees. What a beautiful place. These mountain roads are something else, with scenery that is just breathtaking. We dont get into Redding till after 7pm, and find this really nice RV park off the highway and out of town.
