Travel day yet again. Posted a shot of the LEGO store in the Copenhagen airport. Checked to see if they had anything we haven’t seen yet, maybe a few new city pieces we can look for. Yep, raining today, but another lovely breakfast. They serve individual dishes of scrambled eggs & veggies, oatmeal, etc. our first location with a true breakfast pastry - Danish, of course! Euro breakfast buffets have many breads, cheeses, & jams, but this one also included thin bars of chocolate. Maybe that is the secret to “hygge”? Travel day, but started at a reasonable time & caught the airport bus at 10:30. After being around mountains & hills for a week, Denmark is really flat! Great metro system into the city, but a bit longer than the 8 min they promised to the hotel. Bikes are everywhere - on sidewalks leaning against buildings, some locked, others not, & thick in the bike lanes. It would probably be an adventure to ride with them! Our last day in Bergen was beautiful & temp climbed to 65, the warmest so far. We decided to take advantage of the temp & take the funicular (a rail & cable based train of 3 cars) that goes up a steep path to the top of the nearest mountain.
