Started with a bit of sun (yay) & a lovely breakfast. European breakfast is a wonderful display. Today we had apple slices with yogurt, square “pancakes” with powdered sugar (Much richer than ours), & baked vegetable quiche. Then Dave added a fried egg, toast & jam, a croissant, etc. his kind of place! Coffee is great here - rich and strong (for me) but not dark roasted. Breakfast also includes a full salad & sandwich bar for those who choose....

Saturday started at 0-dark hundred (3am for Dave)! We had reserved a cab to the train station for 5am, a 5:40 am train to the airport, & a 7:20 flight. Because of timing we had to do an Oslo-Bergen-Sogndal triangle. The 737 out of Oslo switched to a little Dash 8 out of Bergen. It was a bit bumpy going up but not bad overall. We arrived at Sogndal airport & nobody was there! This was the only part of the trip we didn’t have full details set.A sign annou...
