Well it's Five years in since the last Fiji blog and the amazing trip....we are attempting another....the last trip made us decide to sell up in the U.K...and we now live in the French Alps...happily surround by the other Bogans, Eliza, Aiden, Kate and Thomas.....I promise to try and type correctly this time so you can understand what I'm saying!!...I know my last blog was amusingly covered with typos!

Starting Wednesday 13 the September we flew to heathrow , left heathrow for South Africa......flying "steerage " it was a pleasant surprise to feel really comfortable and fed very well, "thank you Virgin"', and after eleven hours we got to Johannesburg airport...sprawling , utterly confusing...., "note to self": avoid stopping there ever again! we were lucky to get our next plane....and flopped into our seats like zombies....I think I sat there staring into space for an hour and half....

Cape Town , we met our very nice fellow house swoppers steffi and Bert....we are staying in their holiday home south east of Cape Town...a small seaside place The Strand....as you can see with nice views from the balcony of the rolling Atlantic Ocean....this balcony has patio sliding windows thankfully !!!, otherwise I'd not be sitting here in the warming sun right now....it's blowing those strong Atlantic winds straight at us.....after 40 hours of no sleep , last night we hit the beds unconscious...

This morning we've shopped for food, and had a rather blustery walk along the sand......tomorrow we are on on a drive to the cape of good hope and Cape point...no doubt to be blown to bits by the Atlantic winds.......us ol' Bogies will certainly have "rosey cheeks" by the time we leave the Cape.........
