Hello all. Sorry bout all the no blog but i thought id keep the map up to date. if you havent seen the full map click home (on the tabs above) then full map view on the map that appears! Anyways its been a few days in the van and its been pretty gud. Unfortunetly the weatherwas not gud for the first few days but this has cleared up and the weather is actually gud for this time of year, but pretty nippy at night! New Zealand is amazing! the scenery is brilliant everywhere. even on the south coast where its meant to be the worst place it is pretty nice, much like the countryside of the UK, but with more sights like bays where dolphins, penguins and seals can be seen. We are now in Queenstown, which styles itself as the activity capital of New Zealand, and possibly the world, and i probably wouldnt disagree, its got everything here. We have only been here two days and already we have done the luge, paragliding, and mountain biking. Tomorrow we are going on a jet boat on the river and also white water rafting, hopefully the day after i will go bungee jumping and skydiving (which both should be amazing!) Queenstown is pretty spectacular itself. Hopefully the pics will be on soon (if not on facebook already). The views are especially gud on the hilltop where you can see the town, the lake and the snowcovered mountains just the other side of the river. We arrived here in Queenstown a little earlier than planned as we had planned to go up to Milford Sound from Te Anau, however there was an erthquake the day before and they closed the road as its in the mountains and there could be mudslides or avalanches etc. This road has only just reopened but hopefully we can backtrack and make it up there. Thats pretty much all i have to say so far (although ill prob remember more that i should write). Hopefully tell you bout the activities we been up to next time, and if i remember anythin else ill add it.
So for now see you later Bro (as the kiwis would say!)
