Well we've done it! From the very south to the very north and loads of places in between! In all we clocked up 5325km in the old campervan! Today we handed it back to the company and now we are in Auckland! Auckland from the looks of it so far is a pretty mad place. Its the biggest place in New Zealand and you can tell! In the days since the last blog we have lost Bobby and then pretty much tried to get up the the far north and back. We have seen a few things along the way, such as ninty mile beach (which is the only thing in NZ measured in miles!, how convienient) Although rental cars are not allowed on the beach we went for a bit of a walk on it! Pretty much straight away we could see why as a car in the distance tried to do a doughnut and filled over! The guys near us went off runnin to see if they where ok, we didnt bother as it was about a mile away (it took the others at least 20mins to reach them!) Also on the way out had to help dig a stranded camper out of the sand, although this was on the car park and not actually the beach. Apart from that and Cape Reinga, we've been pretty much driving and seein sites such as the bay of islands. Actually pretty glad to get out of the van as we may start to get more of a social life, but on the downside we have to carry about the bags again! Thats it for the New Zealand leg (unless i add more about Auckland!) Next onto Fiji, which should be fun as we have no idea where were going.
