I am having a frankly terrible time at the monet!

On Tuesday night we left from Hervey Bay to go to Airlie beach for our Whitsundays tour. Everything was fine except for a bit of rain. But we got to Mackay and were told there were floods further up which may prevent us from going further... Great.

The driver decided to go for it anyway. 45 minutes there. Sorry you can't go any further. 45 minutes back. Brilliant!

Now we are stuck in a complete dump with no where to stay at 7.00 in the morning!

We managed to find a hotel which was ok value and had breakfast included which was nice. We have been here for three nights and it hasn't stopped raining. I would love to be in Cairns but a flight there costs 390 dollars and its raining there anyway!

We are getting an overnight bus there tonight but it means missing The Whitsundays and possibly losing our money. But if it is pouring with rain I would rather not be out at sea on a racing yaht. So we shall see what the next move is!
