DAY SEVENTY ONE

As i thought i was leaving that night, i woke up and said goodbye to all the lovely people i had met that were now going to work!

All day i spent packing and making sure i had everything! until i decided...oh lets just double check the time im flying. And thats when i saw that my flight was the day BEFORE! when i saw it on the paper i just burst out laughing! i actually couldnt believe that i had missed my flight. infact i didnt believe it at all, i rang my dad and asked him and he said it was the 19th and i also rang Scarlett and made her get her laptop on and check my emails and she told me that i had missed it!

i was gutted but at the same time half happy because i couldnt be bothered leaving Coogee as it was so nice and warm unlike New Zealand!! From then on i was constantly ringing Qantas trying to get through and change my flight, i must of tried them like 1000 times. i then rang my mum who started laughing at me, which i didnt apprciate but i did deserved to be laughed at to be fair!

Eventually, i had finally got through to Qantas who told me to go to the airport in the morning for 8am with my bags as if i was about to catch a flight!

That night when the people came home from work (the ones i said goodbye to) all they did was laugh! i mean thats all you can really do isnt it!!

I then went to room 11 with all my stuff and had a few drinks with Andrew James and Danny. in the common room, all the people that were working in the carnival were having a fairwell party to one of there friends so we decided to join in. but we were all so tired and bored, me and Danny payed this drinking game where you have a beer bottle and you put the cap upside down on the top of it, and with a bent cap, you have to throw it at the other persons bottle and try and hit it off. that kept me amused for a good hour. then i decided after haveing way too much excitment for one day, that i should go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling 10 times happier and be hopeful that i was going to get on the next flight avaliable!
