DAY SIXTY ONE

Even though i was one of the last to go to bed, i was one of the first up, and as promised i went into Jamie and Wills room and jumped on them so they would wake up! Rob and Andrew decided to start drinking as soon as they got up but i wasnt feeling the alcohol at 9 in the morning! So i just ate the fry up they made me then had a swig of there beer every now and then! the weather was absolutly lush, perfect for a day at the races!

We all got ready and Cosmo met us at the hostel, it was such an exciting day though because this was actually celebrating my friend Andrew's birthday weekend! We got the bus there and poor Will was so hungover that he was nursing his quater pounder burger that he wanted to eat but couldnt! Once we were there everyone was dressed beautifully! i wish i had made more of an effort but hey im a backpacker!

I had said that i wasnt going to gamble atall but that obv was a load of rubbish! Cosmo and Andrew won on there first race so then i decided to join in the fun! i ended up overall winning over $150 but my friend whos birthday it was won, $500! it was such a good moment when he won because it was his birthday day out and we were all just so excited and jumping around like we were 12! I met my friend Cormac and he said he had won over $2000 but i dont think i believe him! ;)

Today has defo been my fave day at coogee! i just loved the company and the races it was just amazing! afterwards the boys left me and Jamie before the last race and because we had made a bet we decided to stay and wait til the last race! Unfortunatly my horse didnt win, and poor jamie didnt even have one single win! We then thought it was clever and cheaper to walk home from Randwick! As i was walking home i still had my heels on and this women approached me and was like well done your the only women still wearing heels so i was like "One for the Women!"

As me and Jamie were so hungry we then decided to go to a chinese but it was gross! and Jamie was so drunk he defo couldnt eat but it was funny to watch! We then carried on walking, it actually took us 3 hours to walk home as we made about 10 different stops at random places to get food and drink! Once we were back at Coogee Beach we went and sat on the beach and drank some more then went back to the hostel to find Cosmo routing through my stuff trying to find a bra that he wanted to borrow as we were all going to a fancy dress party! But i was like noway because i have limited bras as it is! so the boys went off to the party and we said we would meet them there as we were waiting for Bec to finish work! But me and Jamie thought it would be a good idea to play a drinking game then go to CBH and then the party! to be honest because Jamie was so drunk he fell out with Bec and then it just went from bad to worse and i had to take Jamie home and put him to bed because he couldnt even talk!

Then i went to bed gutted because we didnt manage it to the fancy dress party!
