DAY EIGHTEEN

Had a lie in and we all relaxed next to the pool, the water was so nice and warm i didnt want to move!

The group had a nature walk/jungle trek late afternoon! Sarah had gone surfing in the morning so when she came back she was so funny as she was doing all the surfer sings and kept saying dude!

We met our leader who was called Aip, who is so funny and not scared of anything! We first started off and he showed us lots of trees with avacados on and cocoa beans! they were pretty amazing and then spoke to us briefly about the tsunami! which hit here in oct 2006, not the boxing day one!

We walked round the corner to a field of deers, Aip had collected these flowers that they eat! he made a weird noise and all the deers came running towards us and we fed them with the flowers, it was amazing but scary at the same time because they are wild!

Then walked out a monkey and its baby just chilling with the deers, was bazar! After feeding the beautiful creatures, we went across the field and saw some monkeys, and a few of them were robbing coffee off a van, which i found amusing but the guy didnt. i laughed, a lot. In the sky we saw the rare horn bill! We then climbed up into this jungle thnig and found some s*** scary deer that was a massive male with massive antlers just stood there looking as if it wanted to kill us! After moving slowly away from it, Aip spotted some things like a comodo dragon but not quite! they were amazing and massive but so scared of humans, so as soon as it saw you it would run away!

We then carried on thorough the forest til we got to this cave, where it was pitch black. when we shined the torch there was about a millinos bats above our heads, i was not amused because i didnt want any of them to poo on me! We also saw a family of porkipines which were so cute but got a bit too close for comfort!!

After we got to the exit of the cave, we marched on to a beach where we tried to find some land crabs but we were unsuccessful! After walking for about two hours solidly, Aip spotted a flying squiral! and shook the tree and then it flew out and was amazing. We then headed to a second beach and saw the sunset which was beautiful!

After a four hour jungle trek, we all went to a sea food restaurant which was ok but i dont eat most of the stuff! and then went to bed <3
