I slept sporadically until sunrise, where the whole sky illuminated with a pinkish tone. It was so beautiful, and it was awesome waking up and walking on the beach. Later on in the morning, I ended up renting some snorkel gear and snorkels at least 3 hours today. So many fish and coral! I saw bright blue and yellow ones, rainbow ones, angelfish, and even a giant purple starfish! For the rest of the afternoon, I just showered and hung out at the bungalow area and napped in the hammock. At nighttime, we were dropped off at a different beach where we had a BBQ (kinda 4th of July here? Haha) with a local family. It was fun, but it made me a little homesick. While there, I realized I got an awful sunburn on my entire back side from snorkeling. In a lot of pain but luckily my friend had aloe. Went to bed early again, although it was difficult since people were singing loudly right in front of my bungalow.

Mom That sounds like a great weekend, even despite a sunburn! Beautiful pictures- I guess the travel magazine ads don't lie- I hope your cold is a short one
auntie lissa what a fun day except for the ruckus outside your bungalow. July 4th was overcast/foggy in the bay area.
