A lazy day today.

Hoi An is a quieter place and we decided to take a well deserved rest day.

A lazy morning walking around the city visiting some local places of interest including an assembly hall, museum of culture where pots from Hoi An and the local area were on show and a local house of interest which is 8 generations old and has been passed down through the family.

In the afternoon we went for a massage where Rob and I were pulled, twisted, pummelled and slapped next to each other.

Interestingly upon comparing our massage Rob didn't have his bum massaged like I did!

We then went for drinks at a posh hotel bar where we played draughts, followed by drinks and dinner in he White Lotus restaurant which is a great place to eat with wonderful food and with all profits going to help the poor of Vietnam and Cambodia.

The staff there all come from under privileged backgrounds and are trained in restaurant skills.

A truly wonderful place and we have decided to go there each time as it supports such a wonderful cause.

After dinner we joined Huey for a drink in his restaurant and then went back to our hotel.

A lovely lazy day with a bit of culture thrown in :0

Tomorrow we may rent mopeds and head off into the mountains.
