Happy Birthday Robbie!

Rob seemed to like my handmade card (on the back of a hotel feedback form and written in pencil).

He also liked his bracelet and scissors :)

We went to the Petronas towers though unfortunately all the ticket were sold out for the day so we bought tickets for Saturday morning and went off to explore town.

There is a shopping centre here called Times Square which we went to and we also walked around town for a while.

As we wanted to go out for dinner /drinks somewhere nice we spent a few hours in the hotel room resting up and then headed off to the Sky Bar in the Traders Hotel which has an amazing view of the Petronas Towers.

The Sky Bar was fantastic. Stunning views, a swimming pool in the centre which the staff placed floating lamps in once night time came and good music to boot.

I had the best cosmos I've ever tasted and Rob bought a bucket of 6 beers.

Our bill for this (BOGOF for the Cosmo) was 147RM! - pretty much English prices.

It was a great evening though and after we grabbed some dinner from a street vendor and I went to rest my foot and go to bed whilst Rob continued the evening at some bars.

Happy 39th Rob - the BIG 40 next year!
