Today we arrived in Kuala Lumpur!

The bus trip from Lumut was fine and once we arrived at the bus station we saw on the map where the best place to head for hotels was.

So, bags on back and in hand we got our tokens for the monorail and with a little head scratching and asking around finally figured out which stops to get on and off at to make our final destination.
Our train rides were not ideal. Whilst the monorail was efficient, the gates and people weren't.

My token wouldn't let me through (grrrr) and poor Rob got stuck in the train doors when three school girls wouldn't move.

Hot, tired, and achy from carrying out stuff we grabbed a drink in Starbucks and I left Rob there with the bags to go and find a hotel.

My search lasted a good 90 mins. There were some pits, tiny box rooms, over priced ok rooms, pricey lovely rooms and two decent rooms at a fair price.

Having met up with Rob (who was pleased to know I hand't been kidnapped) I took him to both the hotels and we decided upon the room in Hotel Corona.

After freshening up and resting for a bit we went for a wander and found a great street with lots of restaurant on and also saw the top of the Petronas towers which looked AMAZING in the sky at night.

Tomorrow is Rob's birthday so we plan on going up the Petronas towers and finding a nice place to eat for dinner.
