Hello
Our last stop in Argentina is Iguazu. And we reckon we've saved the best for last. The Bus from Cafayate to Tucuman took 6 and a half hours to go 230km, it literaly stopped at every stone hut along the way. Tucuman was godd for what we saw of it/ the inside of the bus station, it was pouring rain as well. While we were there we found a camping shop where we bought camping mats- we slept in our sleeping bags on the ground (in a tent) at Cafayate.
Then it was another 22 hours to Puerto Iguazu through torrential rain in a leaking, but well appointed, bus. BJ was most worried when the TV above her head sprung a leak. We met a Susan from Holland (there seems to be a few Dutch here as well), and since we're staying in the same hostel, she has taught us on word in dutch- vla, which is pudding from what I can tell.
The falls are amazing, we spent all day there yesterday on the argentine side (they're at the borders of Brazil, argentina and Paraguay). We did all the walks there, we were lucky with the weather, it would have been too cold to swim, but we had some nice sunshine.
Today the lan is to go get our Brasilian visas (valid for 30 days) and then perhaps go to the Brazilian side. Or maybe we'll just laze around by the pool at the hostel if the weather is good. Then tomorrow we go to Brazil to see some wildlife in the Pantanal.
Talk to you soon. Love Belinda and Dave
