Unfortunately I did not sleep well at all with terrible diarrhoea through the night, I haven't experienced anything like it. And I was violently sick just once in the morning - I took medication to give me back the fluids I lost which seemed to make a bit of a difference but i was feeling terrible. This was the first day of volunteering. The project was meant to be building a dam but because of the rainfall that they had the week before we weren't able to do it!! Apparently the hill where the dam is, is nearly vertical so would be near impossible getting up. So after a very long journey, 10 hours on a coach, which was very claustrophobic, and 5 hours on a boat we finally got to our destination of Koh Samui!!!
