Last night in Siem Reap we went our to celebrate at Ankhor What? bar. Had a great night and bumped into lots of people from Vietnam! Up early the next morning for the bus to Sihanoukville which took 10 hours, and luckily i got a double seat again! Had dinner and an early night watching CSI when we arrived. Looks like i havent written in a while! Well Phnom Penh was good, i saw s-21, the notorious prison of the Khmer Rouge which now holds the genocide museum and the killing fields both of which were moving and horrendous. I walked around the city, to Wat Phnom, the temple the vcity is named after and the independence monument and all along the riverside. My final day in Vietnam, i did a trip to the Cu Chi tunnels. On the way we stopped at a factory that employs people handicapped by the effects of agent orange to produce handicrafts. The tunnels were really interesting although i was only half way through my book about them! I crawled through one that was 40 metres long and so narrow the guys in the group couldnt get through the hole! There were bats in there and total darkness and i found it amazing to think ...
