Another panic to get on the bus as we slept in! First stop of the day was at a random little museum called the busmans centre where we watched a film about people jumping out of helicopters to catch deer! Also saw the biggest pig in the world and one of the guys fed in bread and told it to sit?! Saw some possums too...weird. Had pancakes for brekkie before setting off Franz Josef in the pouring rain!! Once there we paid for our hike and chilled out in the eve as we were all knackered!

The next day we got up and headed to the hike place. It was absolutely freezing and chucking it down with rain,that coupled with the wet boots we had to wear the damp clothes and prospects of falling over on ice and walking for 8hours quickly managed to change my mind about the walk!!! Couldnt get my money back but tears had started before i even got off the bus so decided it was best not to do it!! Although ive toughned up im still a girly girl and some things just arent for me. Feel a bit annoyed with myself but with the weather so bad knew i wouldnt enjoy it...sorry mum!!!! I get to update the email instead! Few drinks tonight, I can praise the others!
