Got the ferry from Wellington to Picton - thought we were in for a rough ride but sadly it turned out to be perfectly calm in the end. Boring! I was hoping to smile smugly while people suffered from sea sickness! ;o)
Were treated with some lovely scenery while driving to Kiakoura - some of the mountains even had snow on them!
Booked my 'swim with dolphins' thing as soon as I got here - and didn't regret it. It was a great experience - hundreds of dolphins swimming around you while you try to 'entertain' them by making noises or diving under water!! I definately got 'the eye' of a couple of them.....I hope they were girl dolphins!!!
